On April 5, 2018, General Manager Greg Jones accepted the Texas Electric Cooperative (TEC) Two Year - Loss Control certificate from TEC's Byron Varnadore. The TEC awards Loss Control certificates to cooperatives that have not had any lost time accidents by its Servicemen. Cherokee County Electric Cooperative received this award for 2 consecutive years.
